BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (5-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.
