SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.40) inches in Khayan, (1.77) inches in Mogaung, (1.66) inches in Bhamo, (1.57) inches in Kyauktaw, (1.42) inches in Shwegu, (1.26) inches in Sinbyugyun, (1.18) inches in Yangon(Botahtaung) and (1.02) inches in Paletwa.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States.
