BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OFCUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus cloudsaredevelopingin the Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-40) mph. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet in Myanmar Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
