SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon Regions and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above April average temperatures in Bago Region and Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and about April average temperatures in Kayin State. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae and (43°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pyay, Taunggu, Shwekyin and Hpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.98) inch in Hpa-an(Agro-Met), (0.75) inch in Lashio, (0.35)inch Launglon and (0.32) inch each in Minesat and Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The Cumulonimbus clouds are starting over the Northern Shan and Kayin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
