BAY INFERENCE: According to the observation at (05:30) hrs MST today,
the depression over West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of
Bengal is crossing to South Odisha Coast (India)..Monsoon is strong in the
Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 21st June, 2015: Rain or
thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State,
scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan State,
fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining
Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and
Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced off and
along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in the Rakhine Coasts.
