SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (4°C) above April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Hpasaung, (43°C) each in Myingyan, Chauk and Bawlakhae and (42°C) each in Tamu, Shwebo, Myinmu, Mandalay, Nyaung Oo, Tada U(Avia-Met), Magway and Sinbyugyun.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th April, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions.
