SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespred in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, scattered in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (7°C) above March average temperatures in Mon State, (5°C) to (6°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Rakhine States and (2°C) below March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk, (41°C) in Bawlakhae and (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Pyay, Taunggu, Shwekyin, Laydatpyin(Pyay) and Hpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.18) inches in Tiddim, (0.63) inch in Falam, (0.55) inch in Tongzan, (0.36) inch in Hakha and (0.12) inch each in Myitkyina, Kalay.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States.
