SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) below March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Chauk and (39°C) each in Tada U(Aviation Met) and Magway. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th March, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Saging Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State.
