SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and (2°C) below March average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (5°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C) each in Chauk and Pyay.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd March, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
