SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Magway, Yangon Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Kayah State, (3°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Namsam, (5°C) in Heho, (6°C) in Mongyang and (7°C) in Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st February, 2023 Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
