SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Bago, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (2°C) each in Namsam and Mongyang and (4°C) each in Pinlaung, Heho and Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th February, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
