SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Bago, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Kayin States and (2°C) below February average temperatures in Magway Region and Northern Shan, Mon States and (2°C) above February average temperature in Kachin State and February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) each in Namsam, Hakha, (1°C) in Mongyang, (2°C) in Loilin, (3°C) in Heho and (4°C) in Kyaukmae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th February, 2023: Likelihood of light rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
