26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:  During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Eastern Shan State and isolated in Kachin, Northern Shan States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) above February average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayin States, (5°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan, Mon States and (7°C) above February average temperature in Kayah State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (6°C) in Mongyang and (7°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.77) inches in Myeik, (0.16) inch in Minesat and (0.04) inch each in Dawei and Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 06th February, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Southern) Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
