BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengalmove West-Southwestwards and crossing Siri Lanka coasts between Batticaloa and Trincomalee. It is likely continue to move West-Southwestwards and gradually weak. Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 02nd February, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah state and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States.
