SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions, (Eastern & Southern)Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (9°C) above January average temperatures in (Northern & Southern)Shan and Kayah States, (8°C) above January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (5°C) to (6°C) above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Magway and Yangon Regions, Chin and Mon States, (2°C) above January average temperature in Kachin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C)in Putao, (6°C)in Hakha and (7°C)in Machanbaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Sittwe (1.42)inches, Kengtung (1.10)inches, Mongyang (1.02)inches, Pinlaung and Ann (0.91)inch each, Magway (0.87)inch and Mindat and Maungdaw (0.67)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
