BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It is likely to move northwestwards and intensify into a depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast during next (24)hrs. Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Kachin and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan, Kayah, Kayin States.
