BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Andaman sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is Likely to move Westwards and may further intensity into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean during next (24)hrs. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 15th December, 2022: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Magway Region and Chin and Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
