SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair weather in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern ShanState and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing,Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, Kayah States, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States ‌and (5°C) above December average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and about December average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Tiddim, (7°C) each in Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin and (8°C) each in Putao, Loilin and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southeast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reach to the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (560) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (680) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (330) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and (400) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India).Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and North Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regionsand Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph.Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (7-9) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
