BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure cell over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral and Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely forecast to move Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Kayin Statescattered in Bago, Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan and isolated in Naypyitaw, Eastern Shan, Kayah states. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.
