BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards and now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (540) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (640) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (285) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka), (255) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 21st November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States, isolated in (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) to (35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
