SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan (East and South), Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) above December average temperature in Kayah State and (2°C) above December average temperatures in Magway and Bago Regions and Mon State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Heho and (6°C) in Putao and (7°C) each in Pinlaung and Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th DECEMBER, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain in Taninthayi Region.
