SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures was (3°C) below December average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) below December average temperature in Shan (East and South) and Kayah States, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Kachin and Rakhine States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) each in Namsam and Pinlaung, (4°C) in Heho and (5°C) in Hakha.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th DECEMBER, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5)feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region.
