SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the Northern Myanmar areas. Rain or thundershowers have been scatteredinUpper Sagaing, MagwayRegions and NorthernShan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions andKachin, Eastern Shan,Rakhine States and widespread in theremaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mon State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.11) inches in Mawlamyine, (1.81) inches in Hkamti, (1.54) inches in Gwa, (1.50) inches in Myawaddy, (1.34) inches in Hpa-an, (1.26) inches in Chaungsone, (1.22) inches each in Taunggyi and Sittweand (1.18) inches in Seiktha.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25thSeptember, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, KayahStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%). STATE OF THE SEA:Seas will be slight to moderate inMyanmarwaters. Wave height will be about (4-6)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
