BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well marked low pressure area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts, India) still persists. It is likely intensify into a Depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal (off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India) during next (24) hours. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 11th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters.
