BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States,  scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Eastern Shan, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
