SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Eastern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.07) inches in Hkamti, (2.01) inches in Gangaw, (1.50) inches in Hmawbi(Agro-Met), (1.18) inches in Saw, (1.12) inches in Kangyidaung, (0.75) inch in Yangon(Northern Dagon), (0.67) inch in Putao, (0.59) inch in Einme, (0.55) inch each in Yangon(Mayangone) and Okkan and (0.51) inch in Hakha.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
