BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, yesterday’s the depression over the West Central Bay of Bengal has  moved North-Northwestwards and reached Northwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (65) miles South-Southwest of Paradip, (90) miles East of Gopalpur (India) and forecast to move North- Northeast wards. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th DECEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Kachin State and scattered in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface winds speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6-9)feet in Deltaic,  off and along Rakhine Coasts, (4-7)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region, Shan and Chin States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th DECEMBER, 2017: Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainly is (80%).

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th DECEMBER, 2017: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainly is (60%).
