BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the West Central Bay of Bengal centered at about (140)miles South-Southwest of Paradip, (107)miles Southeast of Gopalpur (India) and forecast to move North-Northeastwards. Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th DECEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Shan and Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions,Kachin, Rakhine and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface winds speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6-9)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts, (4-7)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Sagaing Region and Chin State and scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Rakhine States.
