BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal (off Odisha - West Bengal coasts) still persists. It is likely to intensify during next 24 hours.Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine States.
