SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region and Kayin State, scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and Kachin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.55) inches in Kyeikkhame, (4.33) inches in Bhamo, (4.02) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (2.95) inches in Mawlamyine, (2.83) inches in Tagaung, (2.76) inches in Pauktaw, (2.56) inches in Mudon, (2.05) inches in Sittwe, (1.97) inches in Taunggyi, (1.96) inches in Ponnagyun, (1.93) inches in Maungdaw and (1.62) inches each in Katha and Rathedaung.
BAY INFERENCE Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25thJuly, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
