BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over North Odisha(India) still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 18th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
