BAY INFERENCE According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over North Odisha(India) still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 15th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing, Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Magway Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squall with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (10-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
