BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area over the Odisha Coast (India) still persists. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 10th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Magway Regions ‌and Kachin, Chin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
