SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern ShanState. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State, fairly widespread inMandalay Region and Kachin, KayahStatesand widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.72) inches inKyeikkhame,(4.02) inches inKhayan, (3.38) inchesinYe, (2.99) inchesin Kyeikmayaw,(2.94) inchesin Ram Bree, (2.92) inchesinMawlamyine, (2.60) inches in Mudon, (2.56) inches in Chaungsone, (2.40) inches in PaingKyone, (2.32)inches in Hpa-an and(2.16) inches in Pathein.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10thJuly, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will bescattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, MagwayRegions ‌and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State,fairly widespread inMandalay Region and Kachin, Southern Shan,Chin,Kayah States and widespread inthe remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon,Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuation of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
