SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.84) inches in Bhamo, (1.97) inches in Putao, (1.73) inches in Chaungsone, (1.68) inches in Chi Pwi, (1.50) inches each in Hkamti and Launglon, (1.46) inches in Gwa, (1.42) inches in Myitkyina, (1.36) inches in Pon Na Gyun and (1.18) inches in Kyeikkhame.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
