SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and rainor thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and MagwayRegions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (7.80) inches in Thandwe, (2.23) inches each in Kawkareik and Okpho, (2.08) inches in Tharrawady, (1.93) inches in Zalun, (1.74) inches in Hkamti, (1.62) inches in Hinthada, (1.50) inches each in Putao and Manaung, (1.34) inches in NaypyitawAirport(Ela), (1.29) inches each in Sittwe and Ngathaichaung and (1.26) inches in Taungkok.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and MagwayRegions, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Shan, Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread inNaypyitaw and Upper Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region.
