SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated inLower Sagaing Region, scattered inMandalay,Magway Regions, fairly widespread inTaninthayi Region andNorthern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States withisolatedheavyfalls in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.96) inches in Machanbaw, (3.42) inches inThandwe, (2.48) inches in Tharawaddy,(2.08) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (2.01) inches in Zalun, (1.93) inches each in Myitkyina and Taunggu, (1.85) inches in Hkamti, (1.77) inches in Belin, (1.69) inches in Maubin, (1.61) inches in Putao, (1.55) inches in Taungtha and (1.54)inches in Kyeikmayaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
