BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 9th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Ragions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw,Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
