BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “Asani” over West Central Bay has moved West-Northwestwards and centered at about (135) Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada, (155) Nautical miles South of Vishakhapatnam, (260) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Gopalpur, (310) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Puri (India), (575) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco-Island and (630) Nautical miles West of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar).Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway, BagoRegions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, RakhineStates.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Occasionally squall with rough seas will bein Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph.
