SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin State and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon Region and Rakhine, Kayin States, scattered in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regionsand widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperaturewere (8°C) below April average temperatures in SagaingRegion and Northern Shan State,(5°C) belowApril average temperature inChin State and (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (South and East) Shan, Kayah States and about April average temperaturesinthe remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) each in Taungguand Hpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.54)inches in Myeik, (1.22)inches each inKengtung and Kyauktaw, (1.18)incheseach in Pyinmana, Laiway and Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri), (1.14)inches in Pyinmana (Walgyi),(0.98)inch each in Naypyitaw Airport (Ela) and Theinzayet and (0.94) inch in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw).
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Seaand elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE22ndApril, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
