SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Eastern Shan State and isolated in Chin, KayahStates with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, RakhineStates, (2°C) below April average temperature in Northern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Gangaw and (40°C) each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.73) inches in Yeu, (1.66) inch in Mogoke, (1.15) inches in Shwebo, (0.85) inch in Singu and (0.55) inch in Lashio.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13thApril, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Regionand Kachin, Shan States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Mon States.
