SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Shan and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (11°C)each in Hakha and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Myeik (0.87)inch and Kawthaung ( 0.27)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21stNOVEMBER, 2017: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
