SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered inKachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Mon States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and AyeyarwadyRegion and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) below April average temperature in KachinState, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State and (3°C) above April average temperature in ChinState, (2°C) above April average temperature in Mon State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Gangaw andHpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.63) inch in Kawthaung, (0.35) inch in Minesat, (0.32) inch in Machanbaw, (0.20) inch in Putao and (0.16) inch in Mongyang.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and WestcentralBay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th April, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
