BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay and generally fair over the North Bay and few clouds to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE16thMarch, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kayin and Mon States.
