SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (South and East)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon Statesand generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan State, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Tada U (Aviation Met), Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi and Bawlakhae and (41°C) each in Sagaing, Nyaung Oo, Hlaingtat, Minbu, Pauk, Sinbyugyun and Hpasaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern ShanState and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
