BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards. It is centered at about (690) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco-Island, (790) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (105)Nautical miles East-Northeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka), (180) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Nagapattinam, (220)Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry and (255)Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is cloudy over the Bay of Bengal and a few clouds to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 05th March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
