BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea and Equatorial Indian Ocean still persists. It is forecast continue to move West-Northwestwards. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and East central Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 01st March, 2022: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kayah State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of continuation of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region.
