SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (North and East) Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (North and South) Shan, Chin, Kayah States, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States, (2°C) above February average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Namsam, (3°C) each in Heho and Loilin, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae, Pinlaung and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Lashio and Mongyang.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th February, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in (North and East) Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
