SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) below February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Chin States and about February average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Namsam, (2°C) each in Mongyang and Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Loilin, (4°C) in Kyaukmae and (5°C) each in Pinlaung and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.48) inches in Kawthaung, (1.97) inches in Myeik and (0.28) inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th February, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
