SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:During the past (24) hours,rain have been fairly widespread in Chin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States, isolated in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan, Kayin States andweather has beenpartly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were(2°C) below February average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) above February average temperature in Naypyitaw and (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Southern Shan, Kayin and Mon States andabout February average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) each in Namsam,Mongyang and Hakha, (5°C) eachin Kyaukmae, Hehoand Tongzan.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.98) inch in Myeik, (0.51) inch in Myawaddy, (0.43) inch in Hkamti and (0.43) inch in Mudon.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloudto partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE6thFebruary, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin and Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolatedin the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will bemoderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
